📩 Quick Question for You
I’m shaking things up today and need your help.
Happy Tuesday friends, ☕️
How are those Will Smith memes treating you?
After writing 70 issues of the PBB, I wanted to drop a fun question. I started this project a year and a half ago and I want to keep it going for the next decade.
Ambitious, I know. But I see it as a neat public challenge to document ideas.
I’ve learned a lot since day 1 and my favourite part has been the relationship I get to build with readers:
the ideas you run with
the experiments you try out
the frameworks that help your week
But with any relationship, honesty is key. So this is where we have a heart to heart.
If you hate something in the newsletter, I need to know.
And if you want a topic covered, I’m all ears. I read every email that comes in.
So today, I’m skipping the topic and going straight to the ask.
I want to give every reader a chance to vote for a topic.
My goal is to make the newsletter something you love to read:
And to keep it short and sweet so you don’t respond like this:
So I want to toss you the mic.
What’s a topic you’d like covered?
Here’s some lines to riff on ideas:
What’s a topic your team wants you to know by next week?
Has a client asked you something you wish you knew more about?
What’s something no book has ever taught you but wish it did?
What did a podcast cover that you want more advice on?
Here’s some ideas readers have sent me currently in the hopper:
Pros of Twitter vs LinkedIn
How to build memorable relationships online
Best mental models to develop a storytelling engine
Public speaking and interviewing techniques
How to position digital products in 2022
Non-slimy monetization methods for content creators
So here’s my ask to you.
Reply to this email or drop me a note at firstname.lastname@example.org with an answer to:
What’s 1 topic or 1 guest you’d like to learn about in 2022?
If you can do that, you’ll make my year.
Sound like a plan?
Stay outta’ trouble and catch you next week.
