Need a LinkedIn Masterclass? I Built One.
Teaching CEOs, consultants, and entrepreneurs how to grow their storytelling and visibility on LinkedIn in 3 weeks.
đđ» Happy Tuesday readers. Todayâs article was a fun one to stir up. If youâre new and want to join the community of 17,700 readers, subscribe here:
Summerâs over, the kids are back in school, and your coffee friend is raving about the pumpkin spice lattes.
If youâre like me, I bet you still have a couple goals you wanna hit this fall. That new website, the bathroom tile renovation job you keep walking by, or that book you wanted to read.
Well, Iâm in the same boat. But my project has finally shipped and it feels better than ever.
Flashback: Iâm not sure if you remember when I cold emailed Udemy co-founder Gagan Biyani earlier this year, but I finally graduated from his teamâs training program and am all set-up as an instructor on Maven.Â
If you need a refresher on Maven, theyâre the cohort-based education startup that just raised $20M and are focused on being the Shopify for education. Theyâve already on-boarded tons of credible folks and I somehow squeaked my way into being one of their first 100 instructors. Â
Cue the part where I share the fun news.
After months of research and building, Iâm excited to announce that this week Iâm opening up registration for my first cohort class.
The name? LinkedIn Masterclass.Â
The focus? Teaching CEOs, consultants, and entrepreneurs how to grow their storytelling and visibility on LinkedIn in 3 weeks.
The important part? Itâs limited to 30 people to maintain a high quality of learning. And thereâs 17,700 readers opening this invite. So, if youâre curious, I suggest you sign up today.
The timing? The course is launching on October 7th (post September craziness and pre Christmas chaos).Â
My hope? To work with 30 high integrity leaders if this course aligns with a goal you have for the year.
The details:
đMaterial: 5 live sessions + 1 AMA (modules here)
đClasses: Tuesday + Thursdays 12pm PST starting Oct 7 (recordings if you miss)
đTactics: Tons of resources (templates, docs, scripts Iâve built)
đĄCommunity: Slack channel for 2-way chats and live projects during class
đ·Cost: this first cohort group is $300 and the price will double next year
If you werenât a fan of highschool or university, youâre in for a treat.Â
This format is fun, project driven, filled with 2-way dialogue, and no wasted time. Youâll like it if you're busy, professional, and love good value.
This cohort course is for you if:
You know LinkedIn is a powerful tool but you donât know how to use it
Youâre an entrepreneur/consultant with a great business but no one knows your story
Youâre leaving potential relationships and ideas on the table
You want a free PR strategy but no oneâs taught you how to build one
You keep pushing this down your to-do list because youâre taking care of other things
The cohort is NOT for you if you want:
A fluffy waste of time with no projects
A boring self-paced course with no interactions
A super dense and convoluted array of information
Enough is enough. If you fit the bill and have a goal to build a storytelling engine, stop putting it off.
If this is something you want to be a part of, apply for the LinkedIn Masterclass here.
Youâll have to answer 4 questions to share your reason for signing up. Once you are approved, youâll be sent an email link to add your payment details to reserve your spot.Â
All you have to do is go to the landing page, and click âApply Todayâ to get started.
This pilot cohort is $300 and the price will be doubling in 2022. There are no discounts because it is first come first serve, but if you have any questions, email me at hello@joelhansen.com.
(If youâre looking to get this course compensated by your company or write it off as personal development, you will receive a certificate of completion if you need it as part of their company's reimbursement policy.)
Would love to see as many of you as possible. Feel free to share this message with a friend!

Stay outtaâ trouble and catch you next week.
